Catalytic Solutions is developing catalytic coatings for use in Selective Reductions Catalysts ("SCR"), which are used to the control of NOx emissions from power generation facilities. These emissions have been a major focus of environmental regulations worldwide, particularly in response to the threats of acid rain and global warming.

Catalytic Solutions is currently working with a leading maker of gas turbines, to develop a new SCR catalyst utilizing our MPC^® coating technology to achieve low NOx levels and allow for higher catalyst temperatures and a smaller footprint at reduced cost compared to existing technology. Our MPC^® technology enables us to produce catalytic coatings capable of significantly better catalytic performance. We have achieved this demonstrated performance advantage by creating a catalyst using unique nanostructures with superior stability under prolonged exposure to high temperatures.
